Terms of service

Effective 6 November 2026

These terms govern your use and purchase of Soitto. They form an agreement between you and Codon Oy. If you are a consumer, you always keep at least the rights that the Finnish Consumer Protection Act and other mandatory law give you.

Provider

Soitto (soitto.app) is provided by Codon Oy. You can reach us at soitto@soitto.app or through the contact form. We usually reply within one business day.

The service

Soitto is a browser-based tool for planning and following up calls: a time grid, notes, breaks, reminders, reports and an optional Google Calendar connection. We keep developing the service, and features may change. We will not remove core features of a paid plan during a period you have already paid for. We aim to keep the service available around the clock, but maintenance, network problems and outages at our providers may interrupt it temporarily.

Your account

Creating an account requires your real name and a working email address. Accounts are personal. Keep your password to yourself and tell us right away if you suspect someone else has accessed your account. If your organisation provides your account, its administrator can manage the account and see your team’s call times and notes.

Prices and payment

The personal monthly plan costs €4.99 a month, billed monthly in advance. The 12-month plan costs €47.88 (€3.99 a month), billed once in advance. Prices include VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details. If you have free access running, the first charge is made only when it ends. Team plans are priced and agreed separately by quote. If a payment fails, we may pause paid use until it is settled.

Right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from a subscription within 14 days of ordering by telling us at soitto@soitto.app or through the contact form. You do not need to give a reason. We refund all payments received for the order within 14 days of your notice, using the payment method you used. We offer this right on every personal plan, even if you started using the service straight away.

Term and cancellation

The monthly plan runs until further notice. You can cancel it at any time in Soitto’s settings, and it ends at the end of the paid month. The 12-month plan is a fixed term. After the term, it continues unless you cancel; we remind you by email before it renews. You can cancel a renewed plan at any time, and we refund the share of unused full months. During the fixed term you may end the plan early where the law allows it. We may end your subscription with at least 30 days’ notice, refunding any unused paid time.

Acceptable use

Do not use Soitto for unlawful activity, harassment or spam, and do not try to break into the service, overload it or scrape it. In your call work you are responsible for complying with rules such as those on direct marketing and data protection. Avoid storing unnecessary sensitive information in notes. We may suspend an account if its use seriously breaches these terms or endangers the service or other users. We will tell you why and give you a chance to put things right, unless immediate action is required.

Your data

The call times, notes and other content you store in Soitto are yours. We process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. You can download reports to your device. When your subscription ends, you can ask us to delete your account and data. If you connect Google Calendar, Google’s terms also apply to that connection.

Privacy policy

Defects and liability

If the service does not match what was promised, tell us within a reasonable time. We will fix it, and if we cannot do so within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a price reduction or to terminate the contract under consumer protection law. Soitto is a planning aid: whether reminders arrive also depends on your device, browser and email, so do not rely on them alone for critical matters. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost sales, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 12 months. These limits do not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and they do not restrict a consumer’s mandatory rights.

Changes to these terms

We may change the terms or prices, for example when the law, the service or our costs change. We will email you about changes that are to your disadvantage at least 30 days before they take effect. A price change applies only from your next billing period and never to a 12-month term already paid. If you do not accept a change, you can cancel before it takes effect.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Finnish law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence. Please contact us first so we can sort things out together. As a consumer you can get help from the consumer advice service of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority and take a dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board. A consumer may also bring a claim in the district court of their place of residence. Disputes with business customers are settled in the district court of Codon Oy’s registered office.
